Christmas Christmas!

Hai!

Here's a special little Christmas video I wanted to make after I watched the movie "Elf" for the first time. If you haven't seen the movie, this video might confuse you. This is what happens when I have nothing to do. Enjoy!

A wolf named E.D. (New video)

Oh, hi!

Here's a video of the acoustic version of a new song called "A wolf named E.D."
Sorry for the quality, it was kind of dark when I recorded it. :) I may post the significance and story behind this song.

Getting caught up in waiting...

I don't want to get caught up in the feeling we all get, like: "My life will start when I _______." (insert whatever here)

What I mean is, sometimes we think that until we reach our goals and dreams,
then our life will really start. But, I believe that God wants us to enjoy our lives joyfully and not worry about when things will finally start rolling. For example, an artist isn't an artist when they get signed to a record deal, or when they play in front of millions of people. An artist is an artist because that's who they really are. They're an artist when they're staying up until the wee hours of the morning song writing in their room. They're an artist when they play on the corner of a street, oblivious to the many opinions & thoughts of random people walking in front of them. Getting a record deal doesn't make someone an artist. Why not enjoy the gifts that God has given us now? Why wait?
That's what I'm experiencing right now. I'm waiting for something that may not come until maybe years from now, I don't know. But God does knows, and He knows when the right time will be. Until then, I know that I must do what I have to do
now. I have to stop thinking that my life will finally start when I have finally done what I've wanted to do. I must enjoy living my life for Christ now and seek first the kingdom of God.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God,and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

Voila! Turkey a la cupcake!

I made these for tomorrow... what do you think?

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Have a blessed and memorable day!!

What are you thankful for?

Funny, yet kinda disturbing, don't ya think?

Wow! So, Thanksgiving is tomorrow. And being married, I eat thanksgiving dinner twice in a day! I don't know if my tummy can take that, but I must try ;)
Thankfully, I running my FIRST 5K tomorrow morning! I'm so excited, and nervous. I've never been in a race before, but I have been running & training for about 2 months now so I'm sure it'll be fine.

There's so much to be thankful for: husband, family, friends, etc. But what I am most thankful for is God's love & grace. What an amazing thing to know that he loves unconditionally, despite the times when I lose my faith & trust in Him. I honestly don't think I will ever understand the depth of His amazing grace.

38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Christmas time is here...
